Authentic 19th-Century Salvaged Lighting, Hand-Restored & Ready to Install
Restored marine floodlight believed to be mid-20th century will bring a unique blend of history, craftsmanship and industrial style into modern interiors. Originally used to illuminate the decks and cargo areas of merchant ships, each piece features a robust polished metal housing, a wide reflector for dramatic lighting and retaining original brass identification plate and patina. Perfect as statement pendant lights, feature pieces in restaurants, bars, and loft apartments, or as collectable maritime artefacts.
Construction & Features
Heavy steel design with a large adjustable lens connected to a steel pressed hanger. The bespoke handmade ceiling rose has been added to allow for conversion to ceiling mount this spotlight. Retains its highly polished reflector with the lens held in place via 6 bolts across two steel retaining rings.
Mounting
The light is mounted via the heavy duty ceiling plate and retaining bolt within the ceiling rose.
Cable Entry
Is achieved through the ceiling rose and light unit with appropriate grips that retain the overall aesthetics of the light.
Restoration & Conversion
Cleaned, and polished. Rewired and electrically tested prior to shipping to BS 60598 standards. Testing reports are provided.

If or when you wish to change your fitting outside of our returns policy, we offer a recycle and renew scheme. Fore Point Design will purchase your lights from you, or provide offset against any new purchase at an agreed price. We aim to ensure we remain as sustainable as possible while allowing others to benefit from the design and quality of these salvaged products.
