Originally built for demanding environments such as marine vessels or industrial installations, this fixture features a cast-metal body with structural ribs, brass wing-bolts retaining a thick glass lens and a robust threaded rim designed for durability and maintenance.

Weighing approximately 20 kg, this is a true statement piece. This is currently being refurbished in our workshop and rewired in accordance with UK lighting standard BS 60598, ready for safe installation in a home, loft, commercial space or gallery.

With its bold scale and authentic industrial character, this floodlight blends rugged utility with vintage authenticity. The design suggests a mid-20th-century origin (c. 1940s–1970s), likely from a marine or heavy-industrial context. Based on the heavy construction, visible louvres and the nature of the hardware, this fixture likely originates from the mid-20th-century. Bring raw industrial character into your space with this striking rectangular-shade light fixture. Originally engineered for heavy duty service, it has been refurbished and rewired to UK standard BS 60598, ready for installation. The robust metal housing features internal louvred fins and a substantial finish that reflects its industrial past. Designed to be mounted as a set of three on a steel bar (approximate total width ~1 metre) perfect for a large kitchen island, dining table or display run.
