Authentic 19th-Century Salvaged Lighting, Hand-Restored & Ready to Install
This striking industrial spotlight is a salvaged original, once used aboard working ships and dockyards to throw powerful light across deck and cargo areas. Made from cast alloy with a large polished reflector, it captures the rugged durability and bold design of true maritime engineering.
Each piece retains its authentic patina and working character. The adjustable bracket allows versatile installation – hang it from a ceiling with chain, mount to a wall, or angle it as a dramatic uplighter.
 
Construction & Features
Constructed of pressed steel and cast iron with a large open reflector. The piece retains its directional handle and adjuster brackets. The lower reflector and upper bulb housing can be separated by removal of the supporting arm bolts and butterfly retainers.
 
Mounting
Is achieved through the bespoke handcrafted ceiling rose provided (not shown in pictures see accessories).
 
Cable entry
Is through matching cable grip which is completed as part of refurbishment and helps to retain the overall aesthetics of the light.
 
Restoration & Conversion
Cleaned, but retaining its patina. Rewired and electrically tested prior to shipping to BS 60598 standards. Testing reports are provided.
