Authentic 19th-Century Salvaged Lighting, Hand-Restored & Ready to Install

Elevate your space with this rare, heavyweight reclaimed marine / industrial flood-light pendant, a striking fusion of history and craftsmanship. The overall size of this fitting makes it built for impact and gives an imposing presence. Originally engineered for demanding maritime or dockside lighting, this fixture likely dates from the mid-20th century (circa 1940s–1970s).  With its commanding scale, industrial provenance and dynamic adjustability, this pendant becomes a focal architectural element in lofts, restaurants, galleries or nautical interiors.

Construction & Features

Its body is constructed of solid brass and steel, paired with a porcelain E40 socket and an internal spring mount for stability. The tilting collar is adjusted via a robust brass wing bolt, supplemented by a secondary bar-and-bolt angle control, allowing you to aim light exactly where you want it. The large diameter lens is secured by four brass wing nuts providing additional detail.

Mounting

Because of the mass, this light must secure the mounting to structural joists, beams or appropriate anchors via the four mounting points within the facia plate.

Cable Entry

Cable routing is completed through the base plate and metal cable grips to retain the aesthetics and in keeping with the industrial feel of the unit.

Restoration & Conversion

Cleaned, and polished. Rewired and electrically tested prior to shipping to BS 60598 standards. Testing reports are provided.
